1. Can I join?
Of course. We welcome anyone who is from the region, living in the region, or has an interest (whether professional or personal) in the region to join the club. It is intended for members of the Wharton community (MBA, undergraduate, and executive) who are welcome and encouraged to join.
In order for you to join, please complete the application form on the homepage, and click submit. Your application will be processed and you will be notified shortly.
2. How much are the membership fees?
For the time being, membership is free of charge. We recommend you join very soon to take advantage of this one-time limited offer.
3. How do I benefit from joining?
There are countless benefits from joining the Middle East Club of Wharton. First and foremost, it will give you the opportunity to network with Wharton graduates in the Middle East region. Second, you will have access to, and knowledge of, exclusive Wharton events held across the region. Additionally, you will have access to research, articles and other reports which the Middle East Club has access to through its alumni.
Finally, it is important to note that we welcome your support and contributions to the club. Please post articles, host events, and invite other alumni to join the club.
4. How do I cancel my membership?
Please email us at alumni@whartonme.com and we will cancel your membership. Please be sure to state the reasons why you would like to cancel your membership as we are interested in continuous improvement.
5. What are the objectives of the club?
The club’s objectives are threefold:
- The club is organized to promote the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the Middle East region. We promote its programs (MBA, undergraduate, and executive), research, events, and networks.
- The club is to be a network through which alumni and others who are affiliated with the Wharton school to meet one another, leverage the Wharton network to promote its alumni.
- The club is formed to provide a link between the Wharton School and the Middle East. It is to strengthen the ties between the school and the region, promote the school in the region, and strengthen the Wharton brand in the Middle East.
6. I would like to organize or advertise an event on the website. How do I do so?
We strongly encourage all alumni in the region to host either alumni events or prospective student events. The club can provide you support in these initiatives. Please email the alumni@whartonme.com and we will be happy to assist you.
7. I live in the Middle East region and I’m interested in applying to Wharton. Does the club provide any support?
The club does not routinely assist applicants with their application process. However, on occasion, we do assist applicants solely at the discretion of the club-members and alumni. Please feel free to email the applicant@whartonme.com and we will reply to your email. Good luck with your application.
