Dear Wharton alumni,  

Over the past few years, the Wharton Club of the Middle East has become one of the strongest and most prominent alumni clubs in the region. In 2008, we hosted a number of admissions information sessions, informal coffee chats, assisted many applicants prepare competitive admissions applications, and worked hard to strengthen the Wharton brand. This year, we are proud to take part of the Wharton Global Alumni Forum in Dubai- the first time an alumni forum is held in the region with over 400 registered participants and an array of prominent political and business leaders. The launching and continued growth of this club is tribute to the continued volunteer initiatives by its members.
 
Our rapidly-growing list of members value the networking opportunities, professional advice and connectivity with the school that the club provides. The Wharton Club of the Middle East will also be expanding its menu of services and membership benefits while maintaining an up-to-date alumni directory of the Middle East.
 
The Club's officers and members are committed to increasing the value the club offers you. 2009 will be a year whereby we reap the benefits of the Alumni Forum in Dubai, expand our services, and build the platform for a prominent and successful club in the region. We encourage everyone who is affiliated with the Wharton School and the Middle East to join the club, take advantage of its offerings, and volunteer a little bit of time to continue expanding the club.
