You are cordially invited to attend the Initiative for Global Environmental Leadership’s fifth Annual Conference-Workshop on Business and the Environment on April 26, 2012, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This year’s topic will be Greening Supply Chains: Best Business Practices and Future Trends. The event objective is to provide an in-depth, informed, and current overview about sustainability and supply chain management. Presentations and discussion will cover best models for obtaining effective and efficient results in practice. A primary focus will to encourage an interactive dialogue with panelists and conference participants on greening the supply chains in organizations and how these measures will lead to the development of new internal management tools, policy formation, and business opportunities.

The conference will be held at the Wharton School, Jon M. Huntsman Hall – 8th Floor Colloquium, located at 3730 Walnut Street. A tentative agenda is attached. More detailed information will be sent to you prior to the conference.
