The 2012 Wharton Latin America Conference (WLAC) will be held on Saturday March 31st at Huntsman Hall. Last year’s conference was the first one held after a five year hiatus and was a tremendous success with over 400 people attending. Keynotes included Alvaro Uribe Velez, former president of Colombia as well as the Latin America CEOs for Walmart and HSBC. This year’s conference is off to a strong start with three keynotes confirmed, five very interesting panels and lots of buzz through social media. Some new initiatives that the WLAC team has been working on for this year are a career fair for sponsors, a round table discussion with top Wharton professors for our keynotes and panelists and targeted lunches between students and our panelists.

Keynotes:

Marcio Mello – CEO HRT Oil

Jorge Uribe – CEO Proctor & Gamble Latin America

Alberto Alemán Zubieta – CEO of the Panama Canal
